Established in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, the house passed through a number of generations of the Ruinart family, each of whom played a role in the development of Ruinart Champagne's house style, which relies on a large proportion of Chardonnay in the blend.

This, combined with some of the largest and coolest chalk-tunnel cellars in the Champagne region, results in a range of Champagne from Ruinart which display a distinctive freshness and elegance across the different cuvees, as well as incredibly fine, delicate bubbles.
