Maison Louis Jadot carry a simple vision: the inscription in the long term of great terroirs of Burgundy. Founded by Louis Henry Denis Jadot in 1859, it was the first vineyard bought by the Jadot family is the Beaune vineyard, Clos des Ursules, in 1826. Jadot consistently draws paise for his excellent wines from Wine Advocate, James Suckling and in fact all serious wine writers. The reason being consistency across the range of wines where village and premier cru wines receive the same attention as his grand crus.
Their 2021 en Primeur was a sell out and we expect the 2022 release to do the same.
Whilst still too early to give a definitive assessment on 2022 vintage itself, most reports suggest the 2022 Burgundy vintage is shaping up to be superb.
