Join us at our Imperial Wharf store from 6pm-8.30pm on Friday 12th March to taste, free of charge, some of the delicious 2007 Burgundies that we have just shipped in from top Negociant house Domaine Faiveley.

Domaine Faiveley was founded in 1825 and, although like all negociant houses they buy a proportion of fruit in from high quality growers, today they're actually one of the largest owners of their own vineyards in Burgundy, sourcing 80% of their fruit requirements from their own holdings.

Faiveley is one of the few negociant houses still to be family owned and, while they have a great respect for the traditions of the region, including a focus on traditional terroir-led winemaking, they also boast one of the youngest directors of a Burgundy Domaine on record in Erwan Faiveley, only 25 years old at the time of his appointment - and as a result, the wines combine this traditional mineral style and terroir-based approach with modern silkiness and rich fruit.
